Stunning:
Maybe it’s wrong to say conservatism is dead, but what we knew conservatism to be – this neo-conservative trainwreck – is most certainly dead. It never was all that conservative to begin with. The Republican Party is going to have some soul searching to do in the coming months and years.

Full Story... →So here’s the deal. The Ohio GOP is actively coordinating to influence this election. The evidence is clear. First there was absolute hysteria over early voting and the registration overlap (same day voting). Next was the general Republican tactic this cycle of attacking ACORN. Call it a weapon of mass distraction. While the mainstream media is going on about the juicy ACORN story, the GOP in Ohio and elsewhere has been quietly trying to suppress voters from the political process. We’ve seen the attempts to toss out 200,000 new voters because they don’t match BMV records. This, while their own [...]

OLYMPIA ? A hearing has been scheduled for Friday at 9 a.m. in King County Superior Court on a lawsuit filed Tuesday by the state Democratic Party which is attempting to force gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi to list his party preference on the November ballot as “Republican” instead of “GOP Party.”

I’m still waiting for the wingnuts to jump up and down and whine about how he wouldn’t even have HAD that many if there wasn’t already a BIKE RALLY THERE! But I digress.
The real shocker of the event is when John McCain offered his wife up to the “Buffalo Chip Beauty Contest”. Now, I don’t think Mr. OR Mrs. McCain knew precisely of what John spoke. Check that. I KNOW they didn’t. Here’s [...]
Full Story... →Since the GOP can’t seem to find any other candidate, why not run one who has actually done the job before? It got me wondering, so I checked his URL jimpetro.com. There’s no site there, but the whois information seems to have been updated today and lists New Media Communications as the Administrative and Technical contacts. New Media is a well known GOPer web shop.
If the domain were dormant and just sitting there, why would information be updated as of today? I’m not sure if New Media had worked with Jim in the past, [...]
