We continue our look at the ways in which the Tea Party’s hypocrisy begins to show with Part 2 of this series by looking at the stated beliefs versus actions relative to Government and the “Free Market”. In practice, however, they are nothing more than a mouthpiece for corporate backed FreedomWorks and the Republican Party.

Full Story... →The Dayton Daily News reports that the Tea Party Exchange—a program designed to pair Tea Party members with Tea Party-friendly businesses in a discount program to raise money for the Tea Party has folded… after being announced on Friday.
The reasons are multiple.
First, there was a massive boycott from customers who swore they’d never dine or use the services of any business on the exchange:

Full Story... →There’s a PD story today on just how primordially primitive Jon Husted’s Pavlovian teabagging of the Tea Party has been on its face, and how “angry” this all has made our good friends in the Tea Party (whatever the fuck that is).
Chris Littleton, president of the Ohio Liberty Council, said Husted’s overtures to the Tea Party are all propaganda that would make him laugh if he weren?t so angry. He said Husted declined to attend many candidate forums put on by Tea Party groups and similar organizations.
